In John 17:3 Jesus says, "This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and the One You have sent --Jesus Christ".
According to Jesus, the primary reason and purpose that we exist is to KNOW GOD. As A.W. Tozer once said, “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.".
The study of biblical theology is vital in the life of the Christian, because that word "theology" is simply a fusion of two Latin words that literally means, "the knowledge of God".
If you have a sincere desire to know God...to know Him deeply, passionately and intimately....then it begins with a careful and precise study of Christian theology.
Join together with believers from all over the world as we seek to know God more deeply through an intentional and passionate daily study of historic Christian theology.
With the help of the newly released book "Theology Pure & Simple" and faithful biblical and theological teaching from over 20+ Christian authors, conference speakers, pastors, theologians, missionaries and musicians, the "Knowing God Challenge" will equip you to know WHAT you believe, WHY you believe it, and how you can LIVE it out and SHARE it with others.

HOW IT WORKS:
STEP #1: Get the book
The first step in the "Knowing God Challenge" is to pick up a copy of the book "Theology Pure And Simple" written by Pastor Rob Ham. This book is a 56-day devotional through some of the most important doctrines of the Christian faith. If you have a sincere desire to know God...to know Him deeply, passionately and intimately....then it all begins with a careful and precise study of historic Christian theology.
step #2: grab a friend
Just like with everything else in life...we are always better together! The same is true when it comes to studying the Bible. Something powerful happens when we get together with a small group of Christians to study and discuss the Bible's truths together. To get the most of the "Knowing God Challenge", we suggest inviting one or two friends to join you on this 56-day adventure in learning more about the God of the universe. You can choose to meet with your small group once a week in person (or even online!) to discuss what you've been learning about during each week of the "Knowing God Challenge".
step #3: follow the plan
Here's where the fun begins. Everyone who is participating in the "Knowing God Challenge" will commit to reading one chapter every day (don't worry the chapters are very short!) for 56-days from the book "Theology Pure & Simple" as well as the "Digging Deeper" Bible verses at the end of each chapter. These daily chapters and scripture readings will give you a biblical overview of the most important doctrines in Christian systematic theology.
step #4: watch the videos
Not only will you be reading the book "Theology Pure & Simple" along with your Bibles every day...but you will also want to head over to www.knowinggodchallenge.com every day to watch a daily devotional teaching video which will correspond to each chapter in the book. These daily video devotionals will be taught by some of the best Bible teachers, theologians, pastors, Christian musicians and missionaries in the country. The purpose of these teaching videos is to help engage not only our HEADS...but also our HEARTS as we seek to know God better!
